Dear dancer,
5Rhythms has the unique power to never lose its spark. From a single evening class to a weekend workshop, a five-day deep dive, a 'Cycles' exploration of life's phases, or a journey through 'Mirrors' and the ego characters we bring to the stage—there is always more to experience.
It is my pleasure to invite you to join me in Bucharest (RO) from October 28 to November 1, 2026, for five days of movement. We will gather to witness our hearts soften and allow authenticity to flow freely. The very early bird discount ends Wednesday, June 10th.

This workshop is a unique combination of 5Rhythms® and Somatic Experiencing®, offering an elective experience within the 5Rhythms curriculum. 5Rhythms serves as the foundation for this weekend. Throughout the weekend, we will engage in body-oriented practices from Somatic Experiencing, designed to alleviate the effects of trauma.
In addition to group sessions, a few participants will have the opportunity to engage in one-on-one Somatic Experiencing sessions, with the group serving as witnesses. Emotions serve as vital sources of strength and guidance in our lives. Anger, in particular, helps us recognize and honor our boundaries, and empowers us to defend what we cherish. There is something profoundly personal about expressing anger in a healthy manner — it is not about blame or humiliation, but rather about heartfelt communication that safeguards our integrity. This five-day Heartbeat workshop is an excellent opportunity to discover the depth of 5Rhythms dance. Physically, emotionally, and spiritually. When we dance for an extended period of time, the path to full presence opens. You can feel, hear, see, smell and think with a clarity you may have never experienced before. A rebirth.

Happy Spirit Days (Festival)

Three days filled with inspiration, awareness, and connection at one of the Netherlands' most beautiful festival locations. On Saturday 29 August from 17:30 - 19:00 the festival day is ended with a spectacular 5Rhythms workshop on the largest outdoor dancefloor. Read more (in Dutch).

Gabrielle Roth developed the 5Rhythms and led workshops around the world for more than 40 years. Gabrielle created several layers within the 5Rhythms: Waves, Heartbeat, Cycles, Mirrors and Silver Desert. With these she guided dancers through Body, Heart, Mind, Soul and Spirit.
Waves: body and presence – being and body.
Heartbeat: emotions and love – feeling and heart.
Cycles: life phases and knowledge – knowing and intuition.
Mirrors: inspiration and perception – seeing and soul.
Silver Desert: healing power and spirituality – health and spirit.
I highly recommend exploring these maps to discover the depth of the 5Rhythms practice. Life is a dance—immerse yourself in it and turn the dance floor into your laboratory.
