Beste lezer,
Onlangs sprak ik op woensdagavond met een danser die had deelgenomen aan een gevorderde 5Ritmes-workshop: God, Sex & The Body. Haar enthousiasme was aanstekelijk! Het is een internationale workshop met dansers uit diverse landen, vol met gepassioneerde mensen die docent willen worden en dansvrienden die niet van ophouden weten. De workshop gaat over archetypen en het hoogtepunt is een funky, fabuleus, verkleed- en dansfeest.
Misschien wil je meer ontdekken dan alleen het Waves-niveau? Daarom ontvang je, met de vakantie voor de deur, deze internationale nieuwsbrief. Kijk eens rond, ontdek een prachtig land, boek je vakantie en dans op een plek waar je nog nooit bent geweest.
Woensdag 23 juli is de laatste avond voor de zomer. Op 3 september starten we weer. In de weken ertussen ben ik op vakantie en ga ik de danscultuur in Stuttgart en Berlijn verkennen.

Resilience (Elective)

This workshop is a unique combination of 5Rhythms® and Somatic Experiencing®, offering an elective experience within the 5Rhythms curriculum. 5Rhythms serves as the foundation for this weekend. Throughout the weekend, we will engage in body-oriented practices from Somatic Experiencing, designed to alleviate the effects of trauma.
In addition to group sessions, a few participants will have the opportunity to engage in one-on-one Somatic Experiencing sessions, with the group serving as witnesses. Read more or sign up.

Our emotions are of invaluable importance in our lives, as they provide us with the energy we need to take appropriate actions. Fear is an emotion that protects us from danger. Without being able to recognize fear, we would not be able to survive and would take unnecessary and life-threatening risks. On the other hand, worrying too much about something exciting that we need to do can paralyze us and limit our creativity.
